- Instructions to run the Welcome CD if running Mac OS X:

- 1. Double-click the "Welcome-Mac" icon.
- 2. The Welcome CD should begin.

- If you are experiencing any difficulty running this CD using OS X,
- try restarting into Mac OS 9.

- 1. Go to the Apple menu.
- 2. Select "System Preferences."
- 3. Click "Startup Disk."
- 4. Click the small padlock in the lower left corner if locked
- and enter your username and password.
- 5. Click the Mac OS 9 System Folder icon.
- 6. Click the "Restart" button.
- 7. After your machine has restarted, double-click the "Welcome-Mac" icon.
- 8. The Welcome CD should begin.

- To go back to Mac OS X:

- 1. Go to the Apple menu.
- 2. From "Control Panels" select "Startup Disk."
- 3. Click the small triangle next to your hard drive to show the available
- system folders.
- 4. Click the system folder icon for Mac OS X. (The name will be something
- like "Macintosh HD:System:Library:CoreServices" and under version it
- should say something like "Mac OS X 10.1.3").
- 5. Click the "Restart" button.
